Overview

Dough Bros. is growing and becoming the go to doughnut brand across the Southwest - and we would love to know if you have what it takes to become the next star baker in our bakery team!

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate night Baker to join our bakery team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and baking, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to food safety. As a Baker at Dough Bros., you will be responsible for producing quality, handmade doughnuts and ensuring each of eye-catching doughnuts leave the bakery up to the standard we have aimed to achieve over the past 4 years.

Duties

• Prepare and bake a wide range of doughnut choices and stuffed cookies.
• As this is a night shift, start time is around 9pm through until around 4am-7am depending on workload.
• Ensure all food production meets quality standards and adheres to food safety regulations.
• Work with the bakery team to plan and execute daily baking tasks efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the baking area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
• Paperwork in line with our standards and guidelines
• Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and assist in ordering as necessary.
• Experiment with new recipes and techniques to enhance the bakery's offerings.
• Cleaning duties

Qualifications

• As this is a night position, somebody who enjoys working into the early hours of the morning and being able have the days to themselves would thrive in this role.
• Experience in a bakery or kitchen setting preferred (although not essential if you are keen to learn and graft)
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen. (Training will be given)
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
