A community-focused organization is seeking friendly and enthusiastic volunteers for the role of Community Safety Advocate in the United Kingdom. The position involves working with various communities to deliver safety messages and participate in events. Volunteers need to commit at least 4 hours per month and will be provided with training and a uniform. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to enhance public safety and engage with the community.
Support Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service (NFRS), acting as a community safety advocate to help to deliver safety messages to our communities through a range of activities and campaigns.
We are looking for friendly enthusiastic people to join us in our new volunteer role of Community Safety Advocate. This role provides the chance to work in different areas of the county and with lots of different communities, to help us give out safety messages to keep the public safe. You may help at station open days or at community events such as the Emergency Services Days, giving out leaflets and information. You will be supported by the Prevention team and our firefighters and will become a valued part of our wider fire service family.
Through community work you may also help us to get feedback from the public so that we can improve the way we work in the future.
You will help us at busy times of the year, particularly in the summer when there are lots of community events. If you can give just 4 hours of your time each month we will provide you with our Volunteer Uniform and training to help you in your role.
