We are seeking an experienced National Business Development Manager to join a leading product distribution organisation. This role will drive national growth, lead a small UK sales team, and manage key customer relationships across the North, Midlands, South East and South West regions.

About the Role
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a small UK business development team.
  • Drive national new business activity across multiple regions and market sectors.
  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and commercial teams to deliver tailored product solutions.
  • Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and product demonstrations.
  • Deliver national sales, margin, and growth targets through effective planning and team leadership.
About You
  • Proven success in national B2B sales or business development , ideally within product distribution and technical product sectors, ideally within construction / building.
  • Experience managing or developing a small sales team.
