About the Role

Dr Squatch is seeking an experienced National Account Manager with a strong understanding of the German Drugstore Channel to join our London-based team. This is a pivotal role supporting our European expansion strategy, focused on building and managing relationships with our key German launch partner.

Reporting to the UK Retail Lead, you will be responsible for developing and executing customer strategies that drive sustainable growth, strengthen category partnerships, and deliver against ambitious commercial goals. You will serve as the key link between our EU office and German retail partners, ensuring Dr Squatch thrives on-shelf and with consumers in Germany.

This is a full-time role based in London, England, United Kingdom.

What Youll Do
  • Retail Account Management: Full responsibility for the commercial performance and strategic development of our German retail business starting with our German launch partner in 2026.
  • Joint Business Planning: Lead the development and execution of robust joint business plans, including negotiation of annual terms, promotional strategies, and category growth initiatives.
  • Retail Marketing: Drive brand equity at store in collaboration with our marketing team to create visually stunning, best-in-class merchandising destinations for Dr. Squatch on shelf
  • P&L Ownership: Manage customer P&Ls, ensuring all activity is commercially viable and aligned with internal targets.
  • Forecasting & Budgeting: Lead accurate forecasting processes and manage promotional investment to optimise ROI and deliver budgeted sales and margin targets.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Work in close partnership with internal teams (e.g., supply chain, finance, marketing, and product) to ensure operational excellence and seamless customer delivery.
  • Category Insight & Planning: Utilise category and shopper insights to inform strategy, strengthen customer engagement, and identify opportunities for range, space, and display improvements.
  • Retailer Relationships: Establish and maintain strong, trusted relationships with retail buying, supply chain, and category teams.
About You
  • 5–8 years’ experience in FMCG account management, with some of this time spent managing the German drug channel.
  • Fluent in German (native or business-level) and fully proficient in English.
  • Strong negotiation and joint business planning skills, with experience in delivering profitable growth.
  • Proficiency in account-level P&L ownership and data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to travel to Germany from the UK 4–6 times per year for customer meetings and trade visits.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at multiple levels.
  • Highly organised with strong project management skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Degree-level education or equivalent commercial experience.
