Overview

A lovely family in Greenwich, London, is seeking a Part-time Nanny-Housekeeper to help care for their school-aged child and maintain their household. This role is ideal for someone responsible, nurturing, and capable of balancing childcare with housekeeping duties. The nanny-housekeeper will also be expected to cook and prepare healthy meals for the family. As there are two cats in the home, a pet-friendly candidate would be preferred. The ability to speak Cantonese, Mandarin, or Chinese would be a bonus, although English-speaking candidates will also be considered. A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.

Working hours

Monday, Wednesday and Saturday from 1:00/2:00 pm to 7:00 pm, approximately 18 hours per week

Duties
  • Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children
  • Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children’s needs
  • Keeping children’s bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
  • Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as park visits
  • Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children
  • Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children’s structure and development
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and overall upkeep of the private residence
  • Performing routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
  • Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
  • Cleaning and sanitising bathroom facilities, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
  • Carrying out cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen area
  • Washing, drying, ironing, and folding clothing and linens
  • Making beds and changing bed linen as required
  • Cleaning and organising dishware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher
  • Preparing and cooking healthy meals for the family
