Music Teacher

Location: Tameside

Start Date: Immediate start

Contract: Full time, Monday to Friday 8:30am to 3pm until Easter 2026 initially (with potential to become permanent)

Pay Rate: £150-£220 per day (depending on experience)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Music Teacher to join a vibrant and well‑resourced secondary school in Tameside. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and engage students in the world of music, creativity, and performance.

The Role
  • Teach Music across KS3 and KS4, including GCSE level.
  • Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons that inspire a love for music.

  • Contribute to the school’s extra‑curricular music programme, performances, and events.
Requirements
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Music in a secondary school setting (KS3‑KS4 essential).
  • Strong knowledge of the GCSE Music curriculum.
