Job description

We are looking for a passionate and creative Music Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive teaching team. This is a wonderful opportunity for a dedicated musician and educator to inspire students across KS3 and KS4, nurturing both skill and a lifelong appreciation for music. Starting ASAP.

Duties
  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality music lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience is welcomed)
  • Foster students’ practical and theoretical understanding of music through a range of styles and instruments
  • Lead or contribute to extracurricular activities such as choirs, bands, or school productions
  • Assess, monitor and support student progress through effective feedback
  • Contribute to the development of the music curriculum and performance opportunities
Ideal Music Teacher
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • A degree in Music or a closely related field
  • Strong knowledge of music theory, composition, and performance
  • Proficiency in at least one instrument and experience with music technology
  • Enthusiasm, creativity, and excellent classroom management skills as a Music Teacher
