Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Multi Trader in Croydon for a social housing contractor. You will be responsible for a variety of repairs and maintenance works in occupied properties. Candidates should have a relevant trade qualification and experience in social housing. This position offers £21.40 per hour, temp to perm opportunity, with all necessary equipment provided including a van. Face-to-face interviews are conducted at the head office.

We’re recruiting experienced Multi Traders to join a well-established social housing contractor working on a reactive maintenance contract.

The Role:

You’ll carry out a variety of repairs and maintenance works in occupied properties as part of a dedicated reactive maintenance team.

• UPVC repairs
• Basic carpentry
• Basic plumbing
• Wet Trades

What’s on offer:

• £21.40 per hour (CIS) – paid weekly
• 42.5 hours per week Monday–Friday
• Temp to perm opportunity
• Van, fuel card, uniform & PDA provided
• Fully stocked van

Face to face interviews at head office

Requirements:

• City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 in a core trade (e.g. carpentry, plumbing, plastering, etc.)
• Full UK driving licence
• Solid experience in social housing or similar environments.
