Location: Selby, North Yorkshire

Salary: £53,000 per annum

Shift Pattern: 3-Shift Rotation

  • 6:00am - 2:00pm
  • 2:00pm - 10:00pm
  • 10:00pm - 6:00am
The Company

A well-established FMCG manufacturer based in Selby is seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team on a permanent basis. The site operates high-speed, automated production and offers long-term stability within a growing business.

The Role
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across production and packaging lines
  • Electrical and mechanical fault finding on automated machinery
  • Work on conveyors, motors, drives, pumps, sensors and PLC-controlled equipment
  • Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety and food manufacturing standards
Key Requirements
  • Time-served or apprenticeship-trained engineer
  • Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience
  • Background in FMCG / food / high-speed manufacturing preferred
  • Experience with PLC fault-finding (Siemens / Allen Bradley advantageous)
  • Comfortable working a rotating 3-shift pattern
