Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Elec Bias

Shift - Days/Nights with 18-day breaks

Salary c£52000 + Pension + Medicash + Staff discounts + Performance related bonus

About the Role:

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring high-speed production equipment operates at peak efficiency. Working on a rotating days/night shift pattern, you will carry out planned preventative maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform reactive and planned maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems
  • Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime
  • Support installation and commissioning of new equipment
  • Maintain accurate records using CMMS and contribute to root cause analysis
  • Collaborate with production teams to improve equipment reliability and performance
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and quality standards
Requirements:
  • Time-served engineer with NVQ Level 4 /HNC or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering discipline
  • Proven experience in a continuous process, manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience with electrical control, PLC & automation systems
  • Strong fault-finding skills across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems and continuous improvement tools (e.g. 5S, Kaizen)
  • Flexible, team-oriented, and committed to high standards of work
