Job description

White Label is representing an engineering and manufacturing business in Bingley that requires a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team.

As the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer you will be part of the on-site engineering team to ensure that breakdowns are rare and are addressed promptly, and that scheduled maintenance can be carried out with limited impact on production. The role will be split roughly 70% mechanical and 30% electrical.

Package / Hours

My client is offering a salary of £42,000 + 18% shift allowance for late shifts. You will also get 27 days holiday + bank holidays, discretionary 5% bonus and pension. There are overtime opportunities on Saturdays too at time and a half.

Shift Pattern
  • Early shift: 6:00-14:00 (five days)
  • Late shift: 12:00-22:00 (four days)
Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and resolve a wide range of mechanical and electrical faults in a hands‑on maintenance role.
  • Respond to breakdowns safely and efficiently, minimizing downtime.
  • Manage external contractors on‑site and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Contribute to scheduled maintenance and project work across the facility.
  • Work at height and handle heavy loads using appropriate tools and safety measures.
  • Source and order parts/tools with a focus on cost‑effectiveness and sustainability.
Experience Required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a maintenance engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in both mechanical and electrical maintenance.
  • Educated to HNC/HND level or above.
