Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)

Location: Commutable from Milton Keynes, Northampton, Luton, Dunstable, Bedford, Wellingborough

Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 per annum

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off – rotating Days and Nights

Initial shift: Fixed days with overtime at the weekends

About the Role

We have an excellent opportunity for a skilled Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join a stable and growing manufacturing company. Initially, you will work a 5‑day week with weekends off and picking up overtime on a Sunday, transitioning to a 4 on 4 off rotating shift once the new site goes live in the New Year. Key Responsibilities
  • Planned & Reactive Maintenance: Carry out both electrical and mechanical maintenance across a range of production equipment, including ovens, mixers, conveyors, and packaging machinery.
  • Breakdown Response: React promptly to breakdowns to minimise downtime and maintain production flow.
  • PPM Activities: Execute scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and performance.
  • Technical Involvement: Engage in root cause analysis and continuous improvement; experience with PLCs is a bonus.
