Overview

Permanent – Full Time

40 Hours per week

We are looking to recruit a Multi Skilled Engineer to join our voids team to work across properties within Basildon, Essex.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the best quality service by carrying out repairs to void properties within a social housing setting.
• Undertake a variety of trade repairs and maintenance work.
• Receive and complete assigned tasks using a handheld device (full training provided), working efficiently and safely in line with best practice to achieve excellent customer experience.

Qualifications

• Relevant trade City and Guilds qualification (ideally carpentry/plumbing) or a Level 2 Building Maintenance Operative or equivalent.
• Ideally hold blue CSCS (or higher) and have excellent working knowledge of health and safety.
• Customer focused with experience of working in both void and occupied properties; able to complete high-quality repairs on time, first time.
• Must hold a valid full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months as a company vehicle will be provided (work use only).
