A leading healthcare provider in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking a Band 3 Physiotherapy Assistant to join the Musculoskeletal Outpatient Team. The role will involve managing patient case loads, providing treatment and support, and contributing to exercise groups. Ideal candidates should possess good communication skills and a commitment to patient care, with prior experience in rehabilitation considered advantageous. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Band 3 Physiotherapy Assistant to join our friendly Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapy Outpatient Team at Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. This post would be an excellent opportunity for someone currently working with people in exercise or rehabilitation and looking to gain knowledge and skills in the MSK field. We are looking for someone who is a good communicator as you will need to be open, honest and compassionate and be a team player. Commitment to patient care is paramount as you will be assisting them in achieving their maximum potential. An understanding of rehabilitation is essential and previous experience of working in the exercise or rehabilitation field or as a physiotherapy/therapy assistant is desirable.
Support and guidance will be provided from a team of friendly, experienced Physiotherapists, Advanced Practice Physiotherapists and Clinical Champions. There is an excellent IST Programme and regular clinical supervision provided as well as career opportunities through a robust MSK Development and Competency Framework. You will need to be flexible and able to travel to work in various locations to support the service especially with our exercise groups. Job share and part time requests will be welcomed.
