Certain Advantage is hiring for an MRO Engineer – Gas Turbines based in the Aberdeen area.

This role is on a contract basis and is hybrid-based.

The Role

This role is for an MRO Engineer-Gas Turbines—someone ambitious and ready to make an impact. You’ll be results-oriented and driven to succeed.

You’ll be leading a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for :

  • Developing and implementing repair solutions for gas turbine components.
  • Analysing non-conformances and component repairs in support of engine overhauls.
  • Recommending inspection methods, modifying repair documentation, and updating engine repair manuals.
The Individual

We’re looking for people who can show :

  • Gas turbine operation in land and marine sectors.
  • Familiarity with engine development testing, certification, airworthiness, and safety regulations.
  • Exposure to technical databases, engineering documentation, and repair development tools.
  • Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Heavy engineering industry, power transmission systems, Land and Marine based Gas turbines.
  • Quality management systems and standards.
  • Root cause analysis and failure mode analysis techniques.
