MRCICS Valuer - Surveyor / Senior Surveyor (1.5 - 3 years PQE) - Remote working Hiring in Sheffield.

My client is a steadily growing Chartered Surveying practice who have realistic and ambitious growth plans for the next 3-10 years, looking to make their mark. In a short amount of time, they have grown to a team of around 14 full time employed surveyors with an external team of consultants.

Having now established themselves, they are looking for secondary hires into the locations they are already covering so it will not be a new patch and you will have a close contact working in a similar area to communicate with daily.

Having spoken with the MD on a number of occasions, I find him to be very down to earth, forward thinking, likable and well balanced. They are happy to allow people to work with autonomy and provide training/support where needed and work as a team who support each other - regular company meet ups, including golf days and regular weekly team social calls, I get the impression that they’re a positive and enjoyable group of people to be around.

Offering

• Basic salary - Open to discussion depending on experience - approx. £50-65k per annum, plus car allowance and bonus.
• Lucrative bonus structure - Approx. anything over 200k billed, 25% - over 350k billed 40% - also possibly open to discussion depending on experience and location.
• 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays.
• Car allowance or electric company car option.
• Private Healthcare (single or family)
• Standard state pension.

Additional information:

• Their average report turnaround time requirement is 5-10 days for commercial and 5 days for residential.
• Bonus is paid quarterly.
• Average fee is approx. £2,000.
• 95% of their workload being loan security work, approx. 70% commercial, the rest being HMO's, Redbook valuations and residential.
• They are valuers on 200 odd bank panels in the UK and growing.
• Each surveyor is responsible for their own diary with a team secretary to assist.
• There are no glass ceilings and promotion is based upon their performance and solely their performance.
• 3-4 jobs per week approx. depending on complexity
