• General servicing and repair of vehicles
• Diagnose and highlight faults or repairs needed during inspections
• Road test vehicles and diagnose problems as they arise
• Flexible approach to work when MOT testing is quiet
• Engine rebuilds (as required) for engine-related roles
• Work within a friendly aftersales team; senior and master technicians may have increased earning potential

About the role. We are recruiting for a MOT Motor Vehicle Technician who will be responsible for MOT testing, servicing, repair and maintenance work for our clients. This is an opportunity to join a growing motor group.

Key responsibilities: To road test vehicles and diagnose problems as and when they occur; perform MOT testing, service, repair and maintenance as required; support engine rebuilds where applicable; ensure all work is completed to the required standards.

Location: Chorley / Preston area. Employment type: days-based, Monday to Friday, with training and progression opportunities.
