Job summary

A financial services client in the North West is seeking a Mortgage Migration Business Analyst to support the migration of mortgage products and customer data. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders and technology teams, requiring strong mortgage domain knowledge and practical migration experience. Key responsibilities include analysing business requirements, managing data migration, and ensuring compliance. This is a 6-month hybrid position on an Outside IR35 basis.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst on mortgage migration projects.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage products and servicing.
• Hands-on experience with data migration and reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyse, and document business requirements for mortgage migration.
• Understand end-to-end mortgage lifecycle processes.
• Analyse differences between legacy and target mortgage systems.
• Define business rules for product mapping and interest calculations.
• Work with data teams to define data mappings.
• Validate data transformation rules and migration logic.
• Support data cleansing, reconciliation, and exception handling.
• Review and sign off migration outputs.
• Act as a liaison between business users and IT.
• Facilitate workshops and design reviews.
