Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a vehicle workshop or as a Mobile Vehicle Technician.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence without more than 9 points or bans.
• Ability to demonstrate qualifications is necessary.

Overview

Mobile Vehicle Technician / Roadside Technician — Salisbury. Salary: £38,625 basic per annum, OTE £50,000 with bonuses and premium-rate overtime; a guaranteed overtime option can increase base salary to £44,385. Hours: 40 hours weekly, Monday to Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm, 1 in 4 Saturdays. Ref: -28298

Role responsibilities

• Work closely with the breakdown team to attend breakdowns and diagnose issues; aim to get vehicles back on the road, or return them to the workshop.
• Identify problems and explain issues to customers.
• Vehicle servicing and general maintenance including electrical work and diagnostics.
• Represent the business with exceptional customer service.

Requirements

• Preferred: Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair; Level 2 considered. Open to equivalent qualifications (City & Guilds, IMI, NVQ).
• Must be able to demonstrate qualifications.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a vehicle workshop or as a Mobile Vehicle Technician.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 9 points or bans.
• Ability to demonstrate technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience.
