Overview

Mobile Vehicle Technician / Roadside Technician role located in Chelmsford. Salary: £38,625 basic per annum, with OTE up to £50,000 and overtime. A guaranteed overtime option can increase your base salary to £44,385. Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, 1 in 4 Saturdays. Ref – 28759.

Responsibilities
  • Attend breakdowns with the breakdown team; diagnose issues and work on vehicles to restore road readiness or return to the workshop.
  • Identify problems and advise customers on vehicle issues.
  • Perform vehicle servicing and general maintenance including electrical work and diagnostics.
  • Provide exceptional customer service as the face of the business.
Requirements
  • Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair preferred; Level 2 considered. Open to equivalents (City and Guilds, IMI, NVQ). Must be able to show qualifications.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a vehicle workshop or mobile technician role.
  • Full UK driving licence with no more than 9 points or bans.
  • Ability to demonstrate technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience.
