A leading construction company in the UK is seeking a Mobile Electrician for its Kent County Council project. The role involves maintaining, repairing, and installing a variety of electrical systems across multiple sites. Candidates must have NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering and 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification. Strong communication skills and customer service experience are essential. The position requires participation in an on-call rota with a working week of 40 hours.

Our Building Services division provides complete Facilities Management of properties throughout the UK, delivering mechanical and electrical engineering support, cleaning, catering and grounds maintenance on a planned and reactive basis. We use innovative technological solutions to manage our teams in the most efficient ways.
We are looking for an Mobile Electrician to join the team on our Kent County Council project based in West Malling, Kent.
The purpose of this role is to act as Skanska’s first-line representative across multiple sites, delivering planned, breakdown, and emergency maintenance of electrical services throughout the estate. You will take a leading role within the Engineering discipline on specific subjects or work areas, undertake installation work for new or refurbishment projects, and provide cover for the team leader when required.
What you’ll do:
Working hours: 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday (typically 08:00–17:00). Participation in the on‑call rota required.
