About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join one of our client dedicated teams. This is a permanent opportunity for a professional looking to work with a supportive company that offers long-term career stability and professional growth.

As a mobile commercial Gas engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on a wide range of commercial gas systems, including boilers, heating plants, and associated equipment across our client sites.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on commercial gas systems.
  • Apply expert fault-finding and diagnostic skills across mechanical, electrical, and control systems to deliver effective and lasting solutions.
  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and legal compliance, including completing risk assessments and job documentation via handheld technology.
  • Participate in an on-call rota to provide critical out-of-hours support for emergency callouts.
  • Supervise subcontractors where necessary, ensuring their work adheres to project specifications and safety protocols.
Qualifications
  • Essential Commercial Gas Qualifications: COCN1, CCN1, TPCP1, TPCP1A, and CODNCO1.
  • Proven experience in the service, maintenance, and repair of commercial gas boilers and heating systems.
  • A full UK driving licence is mandatory.
  • A professional, proactive approach with a strong commitment to teamwork and customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to complete accurate documentation.
