A leading defence contractor in the UK is seeking a Military HR Coordinator to support Armed Forces personnel with their pay and HR needs. You will deliver exceptional administrative support, ensure compliance with MOD regulations, and manage critical data. Ideal candidates should have GCSEs in English and Maths, be confident communicators, and be willing to learn new systems. Qualifications

  • GCSEs in English and Maths required.

Overview

This is more than just an admin job — as a Military HR Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting UK Armed Forces personnel with their pay, allowances and HR needs. Based at the Defence Academy in Shrivenham, you’ll be part of a tight-knit team working alongside military colleagues to ensure the smooth running of vital HR processes that keep our military world-class.

Responsibilities
  • Providing accurate, confidential HR and pay-related administrative support to military personnel
  • Ensuring payroll and allowances are correctly processed and in line with MOD regulations
  • Responding to pay and expense queries with professionalism and clarity
  • Working across multiple systems and platforms to manage and maintain critical data
  • You’ll be given full training and ongoing mentorship, so while experience helps, the right attitude and aptitude are just as important.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • GCSEs (A–C) in English and Maths (or equivalent)
  • Ability to pass a Security Check (SC) within 3 months (we’ll help with this)
  • Disability Confident
  • A confident communicator (face-to-face, written and verbal)
  • Highly organized and methodical, with great time management
  • Keen to deliver exceptional customer service
  • A team player who can also work independently when needed
