We are seeking skilled and flexible welders to join our team on assignment at Caterpillar in Stockton-on-Tees. This is a chance to work for a global industry leader, develop your skills, and potentially earn a permanent contract.

Role & Rewards

Job Title: Welder

Job Type: 12 month fixed term contract

Pay Rate and Working Hours

• Days: £18.17/hr (increase to £18.97 from Jan 1st)
• Backs: £21.80/hr (increase to £22.76 from Jan 1st)
• Night: £23.207/hr (increase to £24.09 from Jan 1st)
• OT 1.5: £27.26/hr (increase to £28.46 from Jan 1st)
• OT 2.0: £36.34/hr (increase to £37.94 from Jan 1st)

Shift Pattern

Three shift pattern, but you must be flexible to work any shift. Some shifts may rotate so flexibility is required.

• DAYS: 06:45am - 15:00pm (Mon - Thur); 6.45am - 12.45pm (Fri)
• BACKS: 14:45pm - 23:00pm (Mon - Thur); 10.45am - 16.45pm (Fri)
• NIGHTS: 22:45pm - 07:00am (Mon - Thur); 16.30am - 22.30pm (Fri)

• Previous professional experience in MIG Welding

• Working on build/weld fixtures to tight tolerances (Jig work).
• Carrying out manual lifting and using overhead cranes.
• Adhering strictly to standard work procedures, housekeeping, and PPE standards.
• Working confidently both independently and as part of a high-performing team.
