Job description

Hours of work: 3.5 per week, preferably shared over Thursday's and Fridays. Do you have experience supporting children and an ability to communicate effectively? Are you positive and motivated? We have a vacancy for an enthusiastic and engaging Midday Supervisor, who strongly believes in the inclusion and acceptance of all students at Stratton School.

Responsibilities
  • Join a supportive, enthusiastic team.
  • Supervise children during their lunch periods.
  • Ensure the safety, welfare, physical and mental well‑being of all pupils.
  • Arrange and supervise activities under the direction of the Cover Manager.
  • Assist with first aid needs for students.
Qualifications
  • Has a good educational background with GCSE or equivalent in the English Language.
  • Experienced in supporting children.
  • Is aware of child protection issues.
  • Understands the concept of confidentiality.
  • Communicates effectively with all.
  • Has a positive and enthusiastic approach towards work.
  • First Aid qualified.
