• Deliver Meisterbock / Cubing & whole vehicle / single part dimensional analysis.
• Responsible for activities of a designated area including measurement and analysis.
• Work with suppliers to enhance quality status of parts.
• Plan and manage project related activities weekly.

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM based in Crewe who are seeking a Metrology Dimensional Analysis Engineer to join their team

Job Description

As Metrology Dimensional Analysis Engineer your main responsibilities are:

• Delivery of Meisterbock / Cubing & whole vehicle / single part dimensional analysis activities
• Responsible for all activities of a designated area of the property, vehicle or parts including measurement and analysis.
• Active participation in working with suppliers (internal & external) to maturate the quality status of parts and systems and with the ability to advise on measurement and checking fixture strategy
• Responsible for planning and managing project related activities on a weekly basis

Qualifications / Skills needed

• Expert knowledge in the use of optical & tactical metrology equipment.
• Advanced knowledge and experience of problem solving & analysis tools and there application.
• Ability to provide advanced root cause analysis of dimensional deviations for problems seen on parts, the property or vehicle
• Measurement skills across a wide range of technologies
• Ability to influence colleagues within your area of responsibility
