Location: Buttershaw / Hybrid Working (1-2 days office a week – Bradford)

Work type: Secondment 6 Months – 37 Hours – Mon to Fri 8-4

Where you fit in:

In our Metering Administration Assistant role, you will be expected to provide administrative and Customer Service support to the Metering Operations department in order to facilitate the resolution of customer issues. You will be well organised with the ability to prioritise your own workload and you will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service skills to our customers.

The Metering Administration Assistant will assign and complete work using several IT platforms, so the ability to learn and use new IT systems is essential. They will also be expected to speak with customers – this could involve arranging for work to be carried out as well as dealing with complaints both verbally and in writing.

What skills & qualifications you will need:
  • Strong IT Skills & experience of both YW corporate systems and Microsoft Office
  • Previous experience of working as part of a team in an administrative role
  • Develops and maintains strong internal and external relationships
  • Experience of supporting or embedding change with the ability to influence and drive the right culture and behaviours.
  • Clearly demonstrates the Yorkshire Water values and behaviours
You will also benefit from having:
  • Experience of delivering against challenging business targets
  • Previous experience in a commercially orientated and/or regulated environment
  • Previous experience gained within the water / waste water sectors or within the broader utilities, process or manufacturing industry sectors
  • Experience of billing using Yorbill, Advantex, SAP and ICE
