About the Role
We are looking for somebody who can demonstrate excellent communication and people skills and has a passion for providing first‑class service. You must be flexible and able to work on a rota basis that includes weekends and Bank Holidays. You need to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Ensure venue housekeeping is always of the highest possible standard – regularly cleaning gaming equipment, floors, walls and other surfaces.
- Offer service rounds and refreshments in line with brand guidelines.
- Monitor customer actions and behaviour, noting any suspicious or disruptive conduct that could affect venue operations.
- Assist with administration to 100% accuracy.
- Help ensure promotions run smoothly and are successful.
- Deliver customer service in line with company standards, resulting in “customer satisfaction”.
- Own and resolve problems, escalating where appropriate and in accordance with the complaints policy.
- Interact with customers during your shift and intervene as appropriate, logging such interactions as required by policy.
- Maintain a high standard of personal presentation, always adhering to the brand dress code while on duty.
- Achieve, maintain and impart great product knowledge to support the customer journey and enjoyment.
- Gain a good understanding of all company policies and procedures around safeguarding.
- Actively discourage harassment, victimisation or discrimination against employees, management or customers on the grounds of race, sex, disability, age, sexual orientation, religion or belief.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a retail, hospitality or gambling environment.
- Experience delivering excellent customer service.
- Willingness to learn and develop.
- Flexible and dedicated.
- Attention to detail.
- Industry and compliance training will be given.
