Responsibilities

  • Responsible for meeting required service levels for a given range.
  • Responsible for forecasting and sales analysis for a given range.
  • Analyse sales to identify trends.
  • Manage stock to maximise availability.
  • Raise supply/service issues in good time.
  • Collate and manage potential discontinued products.
  • Support range planning with category teams.
  • Plan initial buys for new lines.
  • Create/maintain weekly excel based stock sheets.
  • Raise factory purchase orders.
  • Liaise with internal teams and customers.
  • Assist in development and growth of business.

The Company: An exciting opportunity for a Merchandiser to join a fast-moving merchandising team for a leading home textile company. We are looking for someone with experience in trend and forecast analysis within a retail or wholesale environment. Ability to interpret information & make decisions to maximise service levels and stock efficiency.

Hybrid working 2 – 3 days in the office a week

23 days holiday – rising to 25 over 2 years

Free car parking

Monday – Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for meeting required service levels for a given range
  • Responsible for forecasting and sales analysis for a given range
  • Analyse weekly/monthly/yearly sales to identify trends
  • Manage stock to maximise availability, whilst reducing discontinued exposure
  • Raise any supply/service issues in good time to management
  • Collate and manage potential discontinued products
  • Support range planning in conjunction with category teams
  • Plan initial buys for new lines
  • Create/maintain weekly excel based stock sheets
  • Raise factory purchase orders
  • Work with factories to ensure products ship within agreed timelines
  • Approve bookings for shipments
  • Liaise with internal teams Category Teams, Shipping, Operations, Finance
  • Work closely with the Customer and attend Customer meetings as required
  • Assist in development and growth of business
