A leading children's charity in Coalville is seeking a Residential Children & Young People's Worker. You will work in a new mental health residential home, supporting children and young people with complex needs, helping them recover and build resilience. Essential qualifications include a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare, along with a passion for improving young lives. This role requires flexibility in hours, including sleep-ins and shift work, to ensure a supportive and safe environment for vulnerable individuals.

Qualifications

• Must hold the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or be willing to achieve it.
• Motivation to make a positive difference in young people's lives.
• Flexibility to commit to sleep-ins and shift work, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Build trust and develop nurturing relationships with service users.
• Work in partnership with parents/carers and other professionals.
• Contribute to the upkeep of the home, including cooking and cleaning.
• Document information accurately and keep records up to date.
• Ensure adherence to safeguarding policies and procedures.
• Promote and maintain a safe environment at all times.
