Qualifications

  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) is required.
  • Experience of ward-based medicines optimisation in a multidisciplinary setting.
  • Willing to undertake Accredited Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) programme.

Responsibilities

  • Support the pharmacy team in providing patient-centred care.
  • Deliver patient-facing clinical services across inpatient wards.
  • Participate in the comprehensive induction process for new starters.

Skills

Experience of working as a Practice Supervisor
Accreditation in Medicines Management
Experience of writing and reviewing of policies
Ability to carry out assessments

Education

BTEC pharmaceutical Sciences / NVQ Level 3
Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council

Tools

Stock control software (Well Sky /JAC)
