Be responsible for the day to day administration of the East Midlands Regional EM3 (East Midlands Emergency Medicine Educational Media) for all Emergency Departments in the East Midlands including Kings Mill, Nottingham, Derby, Lincoln, Leicester, Kettering and Northampton.
To manage the East Midlands Regional ACCS (Acute Case Common Stem) EM South and HST (Higher Specialist Training) EM teaching programmes in conjunction with the Teaching Programme Directors for ACCS South and HST. To co‑ordinate and manage the local UHL Emergency Medicine (EM) teaching programmes.
This post holder is able to act independently and expedite as required. The post holder will support the administration for the delivery of the EM educational programmes in conjunction with the programme directors for ACCS South and HST.
The post holder will prepare and lead induction for all doctors, including Consultants, and work with the Medical Staffing Leads around innovative ideas to release doctors for teaching and educational support.
To act as a first point of contact for all education needs and assist the Rota Administrator and JDA team in allocating study leave.
To work with the clinical education centre to ensure doctors are aware of their budget and work with the General Manager to ensure this budget is adhered to.
