Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our current experienced Medical Secretariat Team within EMRS Division at Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust on a 9 month fixed term basis.

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic Secretary who can provide a competent and effective Secretarial Service to Consultants and their teams within EMRS Division.

Responsibilities
  • Provide a competent and effective Secretarial Service to Consultants and their teams within EMRS Division.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and deal with patients, carers, relatives, medical staff and other visitors within the Division in person and/or in writing, with courtesy and discretion at all times.
  • Work with limited supervision, use your own initiative, meet strict deadlines and possess excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience working as a Medical Secretary is essential.
  • Knowledge of office equipment and systems, word processing/typing or equivalent, and knowledge of Medical Terminology.
