A healthcare organization in Portree is seeking a medical records clerk to join their admin team. This full-time position involves supporting the podiatry and outpatient departments, managing the reception area, organizing appointments, and responding to general enquiries. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills and prior administrative experience, although these are not strictly required. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our admin team as a medical records clerk supporting services at Portree Hospital. Relevant previous administrative experience and excellent communication skills are preferred but not essential.
This position provides admin support to the podiatry and outpatient departments and various services within Portree Hospital. The role entails working on the main hospital reception/outpatients’ reception, answering calls, outpatient waiting lists, building clinics, organising appointments and answering any general enquiries.
This is a full‑time permanent post of 37 hours per week, to be worked in accordance with service requirements.
