Media Specialist

Location: Skelmersdale, Bradford or Wilmslow (Hybrid – 3–4 days in the office)

Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 per annum

Are you a creative storyteller with a flair for design and a passion for bringing brands to life across digital, print, and video?

We're seeking a Media Specialist on behalf of our client – an established organisation with a strong brand presence – to produce visually compelling content that enhances engagement and supports marketing, communications, and organisational goals.

The Role

As a Media Specialist, you'll combine creative design expertise with technical skill to craft engaging, consistent visuals that elevate the organisation's brand across multiple platforms. You'll work collaboratively with marketing and communications teams to deliver high-quality digital, print, and multimedia content that informs, inspires, and connects with key audiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a library of engaging, brand-aligned visual content that drives engagement and supports the marketing funnel.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to inform creative strategy.
  • Produce high-quality assets across formats – digital, print, animation, video, and infographics.
  • Maintain consistency in messaging, tone, and visual identity across all media.
  • Create content for multiple channels, including social media, email campaigns, and industry platforms.
  • Drive innovation through new media techniques and creative storytelling.
  • Strengthen brand presence through thoughtful design, interactivity, and social engagement.

  • Organise and maintain digital files, assets, and brand guidelines.

  • Stay current with trends, tools, and technologies to continually enhance creative output.
About You

You're a proactive designer who's as comfortable editing a short video as creating a brand toolkit or designing a responsive landing page. You thrive on creativity, collaboration, and attention to detail and you're always looking to expand your skills.

Essential Requirements
  • Degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Media, Visual Communications, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience creating content across digital and print media.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing brand identity and multimedia work.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Knowledge of social media content creation and digital marketing principles.
  • Strong attention to detail, creativity, and brand consistency.
  • Experience with motion graphics, video editing, or animation (After Effects, Premiere Pro).
  • Photography or videography experience.
Desirable
  • Familiarity with UI / UX design and responsive layouts.
  • Basic SEO understanding and copywriting ability.
