Overview

Mechanical/HVAC Project Manager

My client is a privately owned Mechanical Contractor based in Surrey with 26 years in operation. The business employs about 35 staff across the board and specialises in Fast Track Commercial Office Fit out projects in London with project values ranging from £500k to £11.5m. The role is site based in London (sites are across Central London) and focuses on installation and commercial fit outs for AC, ventilation and associated mechanical plant. Typical project values range between £2m and £5m.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00. The team currently comprises 5 Project Managers and 10 Site Supervisors.

• Project management across multi‑discipline Mechanical Services & Installations within the Commercial sector
• Programming
• Technical Submittals
• Procurement
• Sub-contractor and Labour Management
• Cost Control
• Progress Reporting
• Health & Safety
• Project & Programme Implementation
• Understanding of design and drawings
• Technical & Progress Meetings
• Regular Site Inspections and Snagging
• Compilation of O&M Manuals

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in managing multi‑disciplined Mechanical Services & Installations, preferably in the Commercial Sector
• Experience with AC, ventilation and associated mechanical plant
• Strong ability to manage programming, procurement, sub-contractor and labour management, cost control, and reporting

Salary & Benefits

Salary: £70,000 – £75,000

• Travel expenses to site covered
• 20 Days Holiday & 8 Bank Holidays (increases to 25 Days after 2 years service)
