Monday to Friday 6am to 2 : 30pm with an earlier finish on Friday!

Due to an exciting expansion a global manufacturing business is looking for experienced Mechanical Fitters to join the team at their state of the art manufacturing facility. This role will involve the assembly, testing & commissioning of capital machinery. The successful candidate will have proven experience in a Manufacturing / assembly environment. This opportunity offers technical development & clear progression routes.

Role Description
  • Assist the production team in building machinery to specification
  • Strictly adhere to all Health & Safety regulations
  • Ensure that production targets are met safely and efficiently within the working environment
  • Work cross functionally with design and technical teams, on build issues, to produce a superior product.
  • Actively assist in continuous improvement and standardisation projects and processes
  • Take part in working on customer sites abroad, assisting with the assembly, test, and commissioning of new machinery
