About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our team working on projects within the Thames Water network. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading utilities contractor delivering essential infrastructure services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment on water treatment sites.
  • Working on pumps, valves, pipework, and associated systems.
  • Ensuring all work complies with health and safety standards and Thames Water requirements.
  • Supporting planned and reactive maintenance activities.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter in an industrial or utilities environment.
  • Knowledge of water treatment processes and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Valid CSCS card (essential).
  • Thames Water Passport (desirable - training can be provided).
  • Confined Space certification (advantageous).
