An engineering firm in the UK is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their Energy & Resources team. You will work on diverse projects, from feasibility studies to detailed design and installation. Ideal candidates will have experience in Mechanical Engineering within the energy sector and be collaborative communicators. As a result of recent successes and the development of new projects and clients, Stantec is looking to recruit a Mechanical Engineer into our Energy & Resources team. This role can be based in any of our UK offices but will ideally be reachable from the Midlands/Bristol. Working as part of our Waste and Generation Team, you will have an opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects including conventional EfW plants, district heating, gasification projects, hydrogen generation schemes and multiple biogas production projects. In this role you will be involved in the whole project life cycle, from optioneering through to detailed design and installation. You will be involved with feasibility studies, site surveys and investigations. You will work collaboratively with clients, partners and other team members to develop designs and project-wide solutions across a wide variety of projects across Stantec\'s Energy and Resources sector. As Designers in the construction/energy/waste sectors it is incumbent on us to take our responsibility for HSE matters seriously and we foster a culture of open scrutiny and continuous improvement in these areas.
