The firm is now looking for a talented Mechanical Engineer with Piping (stainless steel) & Hydraulics Design experience, to join their team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of advanced liquid cooling systems for data centres.

Position Overview

As a Mechanical Engineer with Piping (stainless steel) & Hydraulics Design experience, you’ll take the lead in designing and developing stainless steel piping systems and hydraulic solutions for advanced liquid cooling applications. Drawing on your experience in industries including Data Centres, pharma, distilleries, or dairy, you’ll bring precision, efficiency, and reliability to critical infrastructure projects that keep the digital world running.

What You’ll Do
  • Design and optimise stainless steel piping and hydraulic systems for liquid cooling applications.
  • Ensure fabrication processes meet the highest quality standards.
  • Apply hydraulic principles (flow, pressure, dynamics) to deliver efficient solutions.
  • Translate industry best practices into high-performance data centre cooling systems.
  • Test, validate, and troubleshoot systems to guarantee reliability.
  • Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and project teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Contribute to sustainability goals through innovative, eco-friendly designs.
Requirements
  • Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).
  • 5+ years’ experience in stainless steel piping design and hydraulics, preferably from a Data Centre / Mission Critical environment
  • Strong background in fabrication processes, welding, and fluid dynamics.
  • Proven experience in pharma, distilleries, or dairy - ideal sectors.
  • Skilled in CAD design (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and hydraulic design tools.
  • Detail-driven mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborative communicator with cross-functional team experience.
