Mechanical Design Engineer (Building Services)

Location: South London area

Salary: £35,000 to £50,000 (depending on experience)

Experience Required: Minimum 3 to 4 years

The Opportunity

The company is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with at least 3 to 4 years of experience in building services consultancy. Key Responsibilities
  • Design mechanical building services systems including HVAC, heating, cooling, ventilation and public health
  • Produce technical drawings, specifications and engineering calculations
  • Work with common industry design software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, IES or similar tools
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors and internal engineering teams
  • Attend site surveys, inspections and project meetings
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards, legislation and industry best practice
  • Contribute to project delivery from early concept stages to completion
