Personnel Selection are working with this fantastic business, who are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their expanding workforce. This is an additional role and you will be joining a team of experienced and well–respected design engineers.

Who are they?

My client is a privately owned engineering SME based in Wiltshire, with clients all over the globe – some of whom are still customers after over 3 decades! They are a profitable, innovative business and have secured exciting long–term contracts with some extremely well–known companies. The business is recognised within the industry for their fantastic product quality and pioneering engineering techniques.

What does the role involve?

You will be expected to carry out drawing updates, BOM changes, engineering calculations and general engineering duties. You will liaise between the technical and production department on quality and production matters capturing, logging and promoting good engineering practice at all times. You will design and test your own projects within an innovative environment.

Who will this role suit?

An individual with relevant qualifications in design engineering, who is fluent in AutoCAD 2D and Inventor 3D, or similar packages and a willingness to cross‑train. This role will suit an ambitious individual who wants to control their own projects from initiation to completion. An interest in hydraulics and electro mechanical control systems would be a big advantage!
