Our client, a Construction and Engineering Consultancy, are searching for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in London, on a hybrid basis.
Our client is a leading Environment and Building Services Consultancy, offering sustainable solutions for Mechanical and Electrical areas of building design, including infrastructure planning and BIM Services; specialising in sectors such as Residential, Education, Commercial, Sport, Leisure and Healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
-You will be expected to align with client briefs to develop, present and deliver technical solutions accordingly.
-Report on any feedback from the client.
-You will be responsible for the overseeing of the project work and provide updates when necessary to the project manager.
-Deliver designs within time scales.
-Support other members on your team.
-You will be responsible for liaising with external members of the design team, such as Clients and Architects etc.
Key Requirements:
-Must hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering or related.
-Have effective IT skills to be able to produce material.
-Must have experience with Revit and CAD.
-Have experience with Bluebeam.
-Experience using software packages such as IES or HEVACOMP.
-Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
-Required to have a minimum of two years' experience working within an engineering environment.
-Have experience dealing with, coordinating and producing projects, with an understanding of project management tools and the delivery of projects.
-Able to work efficiently within a team environment.
