Job description

CK Group are recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Building Services Technician to join a well‑established and successful global pharmaceutical company based in Hatfield Hertfordshire on a permanent basis.

The working hours are Monday Friday 07:30-16:00 or 09:30-18:00 on a rotational basis (Call out rota 1 in 6 weeks).

This role has responsibility for the reliable and compliant operation of the estate‑wide services and equipment. The successful candidate will plan and undertake routine scheduled maintenance of plant and/or equipment causing minimal disruption.

Your Background:
  • Engineering qualification Mechanical Bias is preferred.
  • Experience in domestic and low temperature hot water systems (LTHW).
  • Experience with Air Handling and Chilled Water Systems.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings schematics and equipment manuals.
  • Happy to be on call (1 in 6) includes attending site Sat / Sun and bank holidays to blow down boilers and carry out plant room checks.
