Responsibilities

  • Handle VOSA/DVLA paperwork using online systems.

Overview

HGV Mechanics Required

Region: Stoke-on-Trent

Pay Rate - depending on experience

Permanent Position after 12 weeks

Responsibilities
  • Service, Maintenance and Repair of a mixed fleet
  • Vehicle inspections
  • MOT prep/ presentation
  • VOSA / DVLA paperwork, including job cards and service sheets using online R2C systems
  • Diagnosis and rectification
  • Safely and comply with H&S legislation and company procedures at all times
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Valid Class B, B1 Driving licence required - C+E would also be advantageous
  • Good communication skills
  • Functional IT knowledge beneficial
  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Awareness of Health and Safety as it relates to our industry
Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 7.30 till 16.30; early finish on Fridays

Overtime

Paid as: X1.33 Monday to Friday; X1.5 Saturdays; X2 Sundays
