A leading technology consultancy is seeking an experienced Maximo Developer for a 3-month contract based in Manchester. The role involves delivering high-quality Maximo development and configuration within agile teams. Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience with Maximo, strong technical skills, and excellent communication abilities. The working model is remote with a flexible schedule of 3 days per week. This opportunity supports a major programme of Maximo development for an aviation client.

Maximo Developer
Location: Manchester
Rate: Negotiable (outside IR35)
Duration: initial 3-month contract with potential extensions
Working Model: Remote
Schedule: 3 days per week

We are seeking experienced Maximo professionals for our aviation client to join a high-performing agile delivery team on an initial 3-month contract (outside IR35). This work will support a major programme of Maximo development, configuration and technical enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Deliver high-quality Maximo development, configuration and technical fixes within an agile delivery model.
2. Lead and contribute to solution design, ensuring alignment with Maximo best practice and future platform capabilities.
3. Participate effectively in agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos and retrospectives.
4. Produce code and configuration to a consistently high standard.
5. Provide consultancy-level guidance on Maximo capabilities and roadmap, supporting discussions with business stakeholders.
6. Work proactively identifying improvements, raising clarifying questions, suggesting options and supporting continuous improvement.
7. Communicate clearly and confidently on technical issues, solution approaches and progress updates.
