What the Role Involves

• Teaching engaging, well-structured Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available in some schools)

• Designing lessons that encourage reasoning, problem-solving, and mathematical fluency

• Adapting teaching approaches to meet the needs of learners at different ability levels

• Working as part of a collaborative and supportive Maths department with shared planning and resources

• Getting involved in school life, including enrichment activities such as Maths clubs, competition teams, or STEM events

What We’re Looking For

• A qualified Mathematics Teacher (QTS/QTLS or an equivalent teaching qualification)

• Strong subject knowledge and confidence teaching the national curriculum and GCSE Maths

• A teacher who is passionate about making Maths clear, engaging, and enjoyable

• A positive, resilient practitioner who brings energy and commitment to the role

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
