Job description
Mathematics Teacher – Secondary School | Newham & Tower Hamlets

Location: Newham and Tower Hamlets, East London

Role: Secondary Mathematics Teacher

Key Stages: KS3 & KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)

Start: ASAP or next term

Contract: Full-time, Long-term or Permanent

Pay: £150 - 250 PER DAY

We’re working with several well‑run secondary schools across Newham and Tower Hamlets looking for skilled and enthusiastic Mathematics Teachers to join their teams. These schools offer clear behaviour systems, supportive leadership, and pupils who benefit from structured, engaging maths lessons.

The role includes:

  • Teaching Mathematics across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to teach KS5 if desired
  • Planning and delivering clear, well‑paced lessons that build understanding and confidence
  • Supporting pupils of mixed abilities and closing learning gaps
  • Working collaboratively within a supportive maths department
  • Maintaining consistent routines and positive classroom behaviour
