Fully Qualified Maths Tutors Wanted - Support Permanently Excluded Pupils (Flexible Hours)

Location: Various locations across Northumberland (Face-to-face Tuition)

Pay Rate: £25-£30 per hour

Start Date: September 2025

About the Role

You will work with individual pupils who have been permanently excluded from mainstream education, helping them re-engage with learning through tailored Maths tuition. This role involves:

  • Assessing pupils' academic levels and needs
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned to the National Curriculum
  • Adapting resources to suit the learner's individual interests and abilities
  • Creating a supportive, consistent environment that encourages attendance and progress
  • Building strong relationships to support pupils with SEN and SEMH needs
  • Committing to the same pupil at the same time each week for continuity
