Overview

We're on the lookout for a Material Handler to join our well established and respected client based in Loughborough on a full-time temporary to permanent basis.

Salary: £13.50 per hour.

Hours: 07:15 - 16:15 Monday to Thursday and 07:15 - 12:15 on a Friday.

The Role

As a Materials Handler, you will support with safely and efficiently moving, storing, and managing materials and products, loading and unloading trucks, performing quality control, operating variety of forklifts, and using stock management systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receiving materials, unloading them from delivery trucks, and placing them in designated storage areas.
  • Loading and unloading packages, moving stock around the facility, and preparing items for shipment.
  • Safely operating various material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet trucks, and other machinery.
Essential Requirements
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Strong attention to detail with accuracy in recording deliveries and handling materials to prevent errors.
  • FLT licence / background in a similar role.
